The vibrant brand identity for Leap was designed by Mexican studio, Menta Picante. Leap is a new school for developers that offers programming courses for high school students. The ‘Leap system’ aims to nurture learning in a dynamic and visually attractive manner.
The playful brand identity uses a colour palette of secondary colours to produce brightly coloured geometric patterns and shapes on a clean white backdrop. This creates a modern, youthful and fresh aesthetic that appeals to a young audience. The use of simple, varied shapes is intended to bring to mind the symbols used in programming languages in a way that induces a childlike wonder, imagination and an element of fun to the programming courses.
