A mark can be fun, professional or suggest authority. It should express the sentiment of a company yet be simple enough to recognize and remember at a glance.
A logo mark is not the entirety of a brand identity the memorability factor of a brands mark helps create a lasting impression. The logo is most likely the first visual representation potential customers see, and for this reason alone a logo needs to fulfil many roles. A logo mark that is clean and functional, and conveys simplicity and depth of character, is the main goal.
