    Gradients offer a lot to logo designers as they can be a start for a unique idea, and they can also be used to make a common logo design unique. Gradient logos are filled with a uniqueness that is enough to make a brand logo powerfully individualistic. The choice of gradient color palette emphasizes a certain business message boldly and stimulates the emotions of the audience. Gradient logos are usually based on colors that are placed closely on the color wheel because it makes the blending of the palette easier.

    These days when there is too much of everything including brands, competitors, ideas, inspirations, and access to logo design tools, one way to become a distinctive identity is to choose the trends of a certain period. If a brand thinks that its core messages can match with the logo design trends of the 80s or 90s, they should go for it. This design trend is being used by many successful brands.     Using neon colors to make a logo is an efficient technique for developing a brand identity that will be highlighted without needing any backup to light it up. These logos are a trend from the 80s and have a renaissance impact. Considering the fact that there are too many technologically advanced marketing platforms, neon logos can be a perfect eye-catcher wherever it is used. Mono-colored logos can be impactful if they go well with the brand idea.     Geometrical shapes are a kind of language that fluently speaks to the audience. A square is the sign of boundary, firmness, structure, and organization. A triangle, on the other hand, presents continuity, acuity, focus, and speed. Similarly, the shapes of oval and circle are the strong associations for the earth, wheel, planets, and similar other circular objects that are easily identifiable for the audience. In short, all the shapes have their own particular meaning, and using them in the brand logo can link the brand to that particular meaning.

    Using these geometrical shapes is a peak design trend, and many brands choose to use these shapes in combination to ensure that the brand’s message is delivered with all of its layers. You can add the attributes of a certain shape just by using the angle that it has. For instance, curves can be added to a square, and an oval can be made to have an angle poking from its edge to make the combination influence the meaning of the logo and make it more suitable for communicating the brand’s message. Using shapes that can communicate the essence of your business message also helps establish a brand identity that is recognizable and distinguishing in the market with overwhelming competition.

    Animated Logos

    Using a 3D logo that can be turned into animation while used on internet-based marketing platforms is becoming a trend quickly. Animated logos are more interactive, and they can communicate better because they hold the attention of the audience for long. There is no specific design concept that is followed for making 3D or animated logos. Anything from flashy and vibrant logos to matte and simple designs can be used for making animated logos. The technology can add value to the original designs and make them appear more reflective of the ideas that they carry.
